Dr Sabin Sathyanandan is a Transfusion Medicine specialist, In his carrier of 4 years after graduation from Tata Memorial Centre , Mumbai is has shown expertise in Immunohematology, Bone marrow transplantation and rare diseases. During his residency in TMH( Tata Memorial Hospital ) he has shown exquisite interest in clinical transfusion medicine and  patient blood management. After his training in flowcytometry , Blood banking , HLA and immunogenetics , Transfusion medicine , apheresis and BMT in TMH, he was into for Clinical medicine duty in Directorate of Medical Education( DME) Kerala. He did his senior residency in  PGIMER Chandigargh for a short time after which he was into rural service in Pariyaram Medical college , Kannur Kerala . He is a global expert in rare disease research and has been in awarded fellowship in rare disease from Spain. He is currently conducting clinical trials on national level and has much of intrest in formulation and implementation of National Rare disease policy 2021. He was also associated with International committee on red cross ( ICRC ) Switzerland for covishield and Covovax and COVAX initiatives during the pandemic.
